How a Sauna Can Make You Money
Facility owners purchase their sauna through Shop Pay and turn it into a bookable amenity. With just a few appointments a day, member bookings alone can cover most of the monthly payment — with the rest landing as pure added revenue.
*To protect long-term performance, we recommend limiting bookings to 6 appointments per day*
*For safety and liability protection, we recommend limiting sauna use to guests 18 and older, and requiring a signed waiver prior to each guest's first session.*
*Example figures for illustration only. Actual financing terms, appointment pricing, and booking volume vary by location, market, and facility. Not a guarantee of income.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does financing work for a business purchase?
Every unit qualifies for Shop Pay Installments at checkout, letting you split the purchase into fixed monthly payments — the same model used in our revenue example above. Approval uses a quick soft credit check that won't affect your credit score.
Is a liability waiver required for guests?
We strongly recommend it. Every order includes a free downloadable example waiver you can hand to guests before their first session. We also recommend confirming with your insurance provider that sauna use is covered under your general liability policy.
How many appointments should we book per day?
To protect the long-term performance of the unit, the manufacturer recommends a 30-minute rest period after every 90 minutes of continuous use — a rule that's especially important for business settings. In practice, this works out to a recommended cap of 6 appointments per day. Most facility owners find 3–4 daily appointments is enough to comfortably cover the monthly financing payment.
What's a realistic revenue estimate?
It depends on your pricing and volume, but as an example: $30 per 30-minute session, 4 appointments a day, 20 booking days a month comes out to $2,400 in gross monthly revenue. These are illustrative figures only, not a guarantee of income.
What electrical or installation work is required?
Each unit ships as a kit and installs on-site in a few hours with basic tools — no contractor required. Electrical requirements vary by model, so review the Specifications tab before you order to confirm what your space needs.
Can I return the unit if bookings don't meet expectations?
Returns are subject to our full Refund Policy — business performance isn't a covered return reason, so we'd encourage running the numbers for your location before committing.
Do you help with staff training or booking software?
We don't provide staff training or booking software directly. Our recommendation is to add sauna sessions into whatever scheduling system you already use — listing it as you would a day pass or a one-time purchase item, and managing appointment times with an electronic or physical calendar.
Is the unit covered under warranty for high-traffic commercial use?
Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and model — our team will confirm exact coverage for your chosen unit before you order.
What maintenance does the unit need between appointments?
Never run the heater with the unit empty — extended dry heating can crack the wood and shorten its lifespan. After each session, ventilate the unit (open the door or vent) and wipe down wood surfaces with warm water — avoid spraying harsh chemicals or disinfectant directly on the wood. If your unit is placed outdoors, keep it out of long-term direct sun using a pavilion, shade, or weatherproof cover.
Order to Delivery: The VILDEN Journey (12–14 Weeks)
Every VILDEN kit goes through a rigorous vetting and quality-control process before it reaches your door — premium, sustainably sourced wood, low-EMF-tested heating components, and a full inspection before it ships. Once it arrives, setup is simple: most kits install in a few hours with basic tools, no contractor needed. Here's what happens between your order and delivery:
Weeks 1–4: Selecting & Grading Your Wood
We select and grade our premium lumber, ensuring flawless grain density and thermal durability before cutting begins.
Weeks 5–7: Building the Heating System & Safety Testing
The cabin structure is precision-machined, and each kit's heating system — carbon fiber infrared arrays or a traditional stove heater, depending on your model — is integrated with multi-layer EMF shielding and tested against low-EMF safety standards.
Week 8: Electrical & Safety Testing
Every kit undergoes a continuous 48-hour thermal and electrical diagnostic test to ensure it meets strict institutional safety standards.
Week 9: Finishing Touches & Careful Packing
Every surface is finished smooth with no sharp edges, carefully flat-packed into heavy-duty wooden freight crates as a complete kit, and sealed for industrial transit.
Weeks 10–14: On Its Way to You
Your order enters our private freight network for secure ground transportation. Our logistics partner will coordinate a delivery window to drop off your kit safely via curbside liftgate.
